Valentina started her blog when she was in the first year of university. She started her blog for fun because she enjoys writing. She also enjoys photography and were taking quite a good qualities of photos for her social media. After a year and a half, her Instagram account (now @valentinalauraen) was growing, she built a strong relationships with the blogging community online, and has a few brands approaching her for collaborations. With this, she realised that she needs to have a website with her hosting name, not just a blog with a company hosting.

In 2017, valentinalaura.com was officially born.

Since then, Valentina has worked with lots of different brands for partnerships and collaborations. Some of the brands / companies she has worked with are: NA-KD Fashion; Ideal of Sweden; Richmond & Finch; Soufeel Jewerly; Happy Socks; Cocoa Locks; Photowall; Solvaderm; Pommery Champagne; Orphica; and many more.

When valentinalaura.com was first created, the blog was mainly a personal blog, and focused on travel, lifestyle, fashion, and make-up. In between 2016-2017, she travelled to a lot of countries for blogging purposes.

Travelling sounds like a ‘holiday’ but when bloggers travel for blogging purposes, there are lots of work involved in it, such as carrying big tripods & cameras, finding the perfect time to take photos, the perfect lighting, the perfect locations, safety, etc! Not to mention, the costs of travelling that could be quite expensive! These were all investments to her and she knew it was going to be worth it. Her blog became her diary.

In 2020, valentinalaura.com was reconstructed to focus more on the audience, instead of being a personal blog. The blog now focuses in writing articles on the following genre with full impartiality (no sponsorship): Entrepreneurship; Politics; Well Being; Live Abroad; College; and Fashion.
